This page is dedicated to the two most wonderful people in my life-Chelsea-my daughter, and my husband Bob. They are the light of my life. Valentine's Day is the perfect time to let the people that mean the most to you know how much you care.
My dear Chelsea I thank God each and everyday for being blessed with you, your smile melts my heart. I am so lucky for being your mommy. I love you so much, I will always be there to laugh, cry, and listen to you. I look forward to everything that a mother, and daughter share from your first love, marriage, and having a wonder baby like you.
Bob, I love you with every breath that I take. I know that these past couple of months have been very difficult for both of us. I know that if we both believe in each other, we can rebuild what took minutes to breakdown. I believe anything worth having is worth fighting for. Love can conquer all. I want to grow old with you holding hands, and watch our beautiful daughter grow into a mature woman, and a family of her own.
I am among
the other million and one people who are hopeless romantics! I believe
that love will overcome any obstacle that two people face. Valentine's
Day is my favorite holiday the reason is because you give love to those
who are very dear, and special to you.
Memories of
wonderful Valentine Days go back to my childhood. My parents always
made this day special for me. Every holiday my mom decorated, but
the two holidays that were her favorite was Valentine's Day, and Christmas.
Little hearts, big hearts, and cupids were always placed around the house.
Heart shaped pancakes or toast was breakfast. I always had a present,
and card waiting for me at the table.
Of course I had my Valentine's box that my daddy decorated for me, which would hold all the valentines in school. He would spend hours decorating it, making sure every heart, and letter was perfectly placed. In my eyes I always had the most beautiful box. I miss being surprised by what kind of box I would have, and how creative my dad would make it. This year I get to live vicariously through my daughter, when we make hers. Thank you mom, and dad for giving me those wonderful memories that will live forever in my mind.
My fondest memory with Bob was when I was pregnant, he sent a dozen roses, and one yellow rose to work. The red roses were from him, and the yellow rose was from my daughter, with a card which said "Mommy I love you". I was so touched I started to cry. I still have the yellow petals, and the card. Thank you Bob for the best memory of our daughter, and our Valentine's together.
I wish everyone
happiness, and love on this Valentine's Day, and great memories that will
linger in your mind forever.
