My First Vacation

My mommy and daddy decided for my first vacation, we would go to my favorite place-Sesame Place in Langhorne, PA.  We left on July 17, 1999 and spent three days there.  It took us about six hours to get there.  Since we arrived around dinner time, my daddy thought it would be a good idea to check in, get a bite to eat, see where the park was, and to get to know the surroundings.

After a restless night, it was finally time to go to the park-YEY!  I was so excited as we pulled into the parking lot-We Were Finally Here!

Walking into the park, we saw foot and hand prints of all the characters.  My favorite foot, and hand print was Elmo's-his was so cute.  The park  was just like being on Sesame Street.

I got to meet alot of the characters.  Mommy got alot of pictures, my favorite picture was the one taken with Ernie, and his rubberducky-he's so silly.

Since it was really hot, mommy and I played in the sprinklers to cool off.  Since I was only one year old, there wasn't alot of stuff I could ride, or play on.  Daddy and I played in the "Little Bird's Playground," built sandcastles, played in the sand, and in the ball pit(which is my favorite).

We also saw three shows
1.  Animal tricks
2.  Big Bird show
3.  A school show with the characters

Around 6:30 at night the park has a great parade.  I loved it, I was laughing and calling out everyone's name.  Everyone sings, and dances all around you.  Personally, I think mommy, and daddy enjoyed the parade more than I did.

I enjoyed my visit to Sesame Place very much.  I was really sad when we had to leave, but mommy told me that we would be back again.
