Grandma Ruth was born on May 29, 1927.  Even though she is 72 yrs old, she still is really active.  At my second birthday, she rode my cousin Kelly's horse-B.J.

Grandma met grandpap Jack, and they got married on Febuary 15, 1947.  They were married for 47 years, then God decided grandpap woud be a better angel to watch over, and protect grandma, daddy, and his brothers.

My grandmother's ethnic background is German, but considers herself Irish, because he adoptive father was.

This is how my grandparents met.  They first met when grandma was 15 years old, she was really young.  Grandma was introduced to my grandpap through his younger brother Tim, and his fiancee Rosemarie.  Rosemarie was like a sister to grandma, since she was an only child.  Grandma, pap, along with Tim, and Rosemarie went for a walk.  This was their first meeting.  They saw each other often, because grandma  and Rosemarie were so close.

In March of 1943, grandpap went into the Army, so Rosemarie who played cupid had given grandma his service address.  They kept writing to each other, grandma has the six letters, that grandpap wrote her.

 
 

I love my grandma, I enjoy to visit with her, and her dog Terry.
